Rams Sweep Cowboys
Apparently orange is the CSU Rams lucky color.
Decked out in throw back orange jerseys, the Rams (14-9, 5-4 MWC) took down rival Wyoming (9-14, 2-7 MWC) 80-64 in front of a crowd of 5,277 packing Moby Arena Saturday night.
CSU lead the Cowboys the entire second half, but faced a slight scare midway through. Following a steal and dunk from guard Desmar Jackson with 8:30 left in the game, the Cowboys pulled within 10 points of the Rams 57-47. They wouldn’t get any closer.
Rams defeat Utes on the road 65-50
Freshman point guard, Dorian Green, played all 40 minutes for the second consecutive game as the Rams defeated Utah 65-50 in Salt Lake City Wednesday night.
Green finished with 13 points, hitting all nine of his free throw attempts. Junior forward Andy Ogide led the Rams with 14 points and nine rebounds.
CSU (13-9, 4-4 MWC) lead nearly the entire game, jumping out to an 18-7 lead behind three, three-point baskets by junior guard Adam Nigon.
Only twice did Utah (10-12, 3-5) take the lead.

Aztecs out match Rams
It’s pretty hard to win when you have more turnovers than made baskets. That’s what the CSU Rams found out Saturday night.
The Rams (12-9, 3-4 MWC) fell to the San Diego State Aztecs ( 15-6, 4-3 MWC) 64-52 infont of a Moby Arena crowd of 3,800 and committed 19 turnovers in the process. CSU went only 18-49 from the field in the loss.
After getting off to a sloppy and slow start, the Rams tightened the game up late in the first half, going into half time down 32-24.
Rams Top Horned Frogs
In front of a crowd of 2910 filling Moby Arena Wednesday night, the CSU Rams proved they know magic.
After allowing Texas Christian point guard Ronnie Moss to score 19 points in the first half of their conference showdown with the Horned Frogs (10-11 2-4) Wednesday, the Rams (12-8 3-3) made the sophomore disappear.
CSU held Moss to only two points the entire second half (both coming from the free throw line) and captured a much needed 63-57 victory in the process, snapping a three game losing streak.
